HOT HONEY MISO BRUSSELS SPROUTS
SPROUTS
- 1 packet of brussels sprouts [trimmed and halved lengthways]
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt & pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed roughly into chunks
SAUCE
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp tahini (optional)
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Preheat oven to 425ºF / 220ºC
- Coat sprouts/garlic in oil/seasoning, and fry in a grill pan/cast iron skillet facedown for 5 mins
- Put on baking sheet (or keep in skillet) and into oven for 10 mins
- Whisk all the glaze ingredients together
- Once sprouts are out, toss in the sauce
