HOT HONEY MISO BRUSSELS SPROUTS

SPROUTS
  • 1 packet of brussels sprouts [trimmed and halved lengthways]
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed roughly into chunks
SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp miso
  • 1 tbsp tahini (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF / 220ºC
  2. Coat sprouts/garlic in oil/seasoning, and fry in a grill pan/cast iron skillet facedown for 5 mins
  3. Put on baking sheet (or keep in skillet) and into oven for 10 mins
  4. Whisk all the glaze ingredients together
  5. Once sprouts are out, toss in the sauce
